You'll be the engineer partner studios rely on when their game has to ship on every platform at once. You'll own platform-specific problems across PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, PC, and mobile: certification requirements, platform SDKs, cross-play, and performance budgets - turning them into clean, reliable solutions the whole team can build on.
What you'll do
- Port and adapt shipped titles to new platforms, from first build to certification pass.
- Integrate platform SDKs and services: achievements, saves, entitlements, online play, storefronts.
- Profile and optimize for each platform's CPU, GPU, and memory budgets.
- Work directly with partner studios' engineers - clear writing and clear code are both part of the job.
- Mentor teammates and document what you learn so the studio gets smarter with every project.
What you'll bring
- 5+ years of professional game or systems programming in C/C++.
- At least one shipped title on console or mobile; certification experience a big plus.
- Comfort working in unfamiliar codebases - most of our work starts in someone else's engine.
- Experience with Unity, Unreal, or proprietary engines; platform SDK experience preferred.
- The empathy, sincerity, and respect we build every working relationship on.
Benefits
- Health, dental & vision - fully covered for you, subsidized for dependents.
- Flexible PTO, plus studio-wide winter closure.
- 401(k) with match, and salary transparency at every level.
- No-crunch culture - a healthy relationship with work is a studio value, not a perk.
