Legacy of Kain: Defiance Remastered

Kain's story deserved better than an upscale. We modernized the original PS2-era engine for current consoles while protecting the look and feel that made Defiance a classic: thousands of textures uprezzed, every character model rebuilt, and modern renderers with volumetric lighting slotted in behind the original art direction.

Along the way we built a custom map editor for the remaster team, brought the codebase through present-day first-party certification, and shipped simultaneously across PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC.
